Mapping History are a Dutch society who create mapped visualizations together with films for museums together with heritage organizations. These visualizations oftentimes ask animations showing the historical evolution of private towns past times presenting a hit of maps of the towns through their history.
The Mapping History website includes a release of Google Maps which portray the increase of Dutch cities together with New York past times mapping the cities through the ages. Each city's mapped visualization includes a timeline which tin survive used to sentiment the city's size at unlike points inward its history.
The historical maps of each metropolis are fairly basic, providing an overview of edifice plots together with province purpose over the years. However the time-line does render a neat overview of how each metropolis has developed through time.
Currently Mapping History has created mapped histories for Amsterdam, Gouda, Den Haag, Rotterdam, Leiden, Harlingen, Zuiderzee together with New York.
