The International Soil Reference together with Information Centre has released the showtime inwards a serial of global pose down maps. The Centre plans to free world-wide pose down maps at increasing levels of resolution. The showtime of these maps, the SoilGrids 1km map, uses the Leaflet map library to render a global pose down map at the relatively course of written report resolution of 1 km.
SoilGrids 1km consists of a release of dissimilar pose down layers created using 3D predictions for basic pose down properties. These layers include overlays for organic carbon, pH, depth to bedrock together with predictions for pose down types based on the FAO's World Reference Base groups together with USDA's Soil Taxonomy suborders.
Anyone tin download the information inwards (GeoTiff format) straight from the map (limited to a maximum of v tiles) or past times FTP (no limits).
