The Popular Fine Art Map

Here's a novel map manner to add together to your collection of favorite base of operations maps. I intend its prophylactic to assume that the Lichtenstein map is inspired past times the famous pop fine art painter too non the High German municipality of the same name.

The map emulates Roy Lichtenstein's hold upwards of thick outlines, bold colors too copious dots. It's also the second map I've seen to successfully hold upwards the much maligned Comic Sans every bit the font for the map labels.

The map is the piece of occupation of Katie Kowalsky, a cartography pupil at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. It was designed inwards Mapbox Studio, the pop map pattern tool, which was also used to practise the The Woodcut MapSpace Station EarthThe Pencil Map and the The Pirate Map.
