Mapping Tallurutiup Tariunga


Tallurutiup Tariunga, otherwise known equally Lancaster Sound, is the southern betoken of the Last Ice Area, the exclusively expanse of the Arctic which is expected to retain its summertime body of body of water H2O ice until 2050.

The World Wildlife Fund has released an interactive map of Lancaster Sound inward lodge to heighten awareness of the area's fragile ecosystem too to promote a drive to designate the Lancaster Sound a National Marine Conservation Area.
