Over the final twelvemonth I've been experimenting quite a fleck amongst using the scroll bar to command Street View (e.g. Scroll Around the World) together with to exercise narratives amongst maps (e.g. the Mary Celeste).
This map of Ikea Store Openings has an ingenious scroll bar command which I like. Essentially Ikea Store Openings is an animated time-line together with mapped visualization of the increment of Ikea over the years. As you lot scroll downward the page the time-line moves together with the corresponding shop openings look on the map.
The map includes a clever auto-scrolling function. Click the play push clitoris together with you lot tin hand your mouse finger a residue every bit the time-line automatically scrolls together with the stores magically look on the map.
