The City Science grouping at Monash University has created an Indigenous Dot Map of Australia.
Every point on the map shows an indigenous soul counted inwards the 2011 Australian census. The map shows the spatial distribution of the 699,990 indigenous Australians counted. Indigenous Australians brand upwards 3% of the full Australian population.
Looking at the map indigenous Australians seem to brand upwards a larger proportion of the population inwards the due north of the country. Apparently the Northern Territory has the largest proportion (30%) of its population who are indigenous, which appears to travel borne out yesteryear the map.
The City Science grouping has too created a Chinese Population Dot Map of Australia. This map shows the distribution of the 866,001 Australians who identified themselves every bit Chinese inwards the 2011 census.
